We are the Spotsylvania County Republican Committee

Dedicated to serving the Spotsylvania community through honest work, the Spotsylvania County Republican Committee serves the community in helping raise awareness of Republican candidates for elections, encouraging individuals to observe commonsense conservative ideals, and assisting in providing our county leadership in the political field.

Republican Party of Virginia Creed

  • As members of the Spotsylvania Republican Party, we believe:

  • That the free enterprise system is the most productive supplier of human needs and economic justice,

  • That all individuals are entitled to equal rights, justice, and opportunities, and should assume their responsibilities as citizens in a free society,

  • That fiscal responsibility and budgetary restraints must be exercised at all levels of government,

  • That the Federal Government must preserve individual liberty by observing Constitutional limitations,

  • That peace is best preserved through a strong national defense,

  • That faith in God, as recognized by our Founding Fathers, is essential to the moral fiber of our nation.

Make a Difference and Join

The Spotsylvania County Republican Committee welcomes all registered voters in the county who share our core beliefs to join the committee. We have something for everyone in the leadership process we promote, and YOU can be the person to make things better for the whole country. It all starts here!

To Join, you need to attend three meetings at which point you may choose to be presented for "election" onto the Committee. You can then download the Membership Application here, and provide the completed application to any Officer of the Committee. Membership fees are only $40 a year.

If you just want to be part of the discussion and desire to promote our Republican principles, please feel free to attend any of our meetings. Meeting dates are posted on the Home Page.

We meet every month – It’s never too late to join!

If you’re interested in joining, please feel free to either contact us or come to our monthly meeting! You will find many other like-minded individuals, meet the current board, and overall have a great time!

We meet as a formal committee on a monthly basis and make decisions as a group as to how we can serve the community through sound governance and substantive volunteering.
