Spotsylvania County

Whereas: County administrators are calling for yet another real estate tax increase; and

Whereas: The recommended budget for Spotsylvania County is $21.3 million more than last fiscal year; and

​

Whereas: Spotsylvania County assessments continue to skyrocket; and

​

Whereas: The positive economic impact from President Trump's Tax Cuts and Jobs Act proves that lower taxes and fiscal restraint fuel a strong economy.

Whereas: The economy is still struggling from Governor Northam's draconian shutdown and COVID-19 regulations.

​

Therefore: I call on you to hold the line against any and all tax hikes and look for ways to reduce spending and cut taxes instead.
