Whereas: The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution clearly states "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"; and
Whereas: Article 1, Section 13 of the Virginia Constitution clearly states "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed,"; and
Whereas: The gun control lobby is attempting to ram through radical gun control proposals including "Red Flag" Gun Confiscation, a so-called "Assault Weapons Ban," magazine bans, Universal Gun Registration and creating even more deadly "gun free" criminal safe zones; and
Whereas: I am a proud pro-gun Virginian and I support the Second Amendment. I will oppose any politician who votes for any form of gun control.
Therefore: I urge you to oppose and vote against ALL gun control in Richmond.
